Riyanshi Is Four. She’s Fighting for Every Breath.

Posted on September 29, 2025August 1, 2026 by Sahyog Care For You

At four, Riyanshi should be spending her days the way every child her age does — running after something, laughing for no reason, resisting bedtime. Instead, most afternoons she’s too weak to do more than lie still, fighting for breath as Thalassemia Major steadily saps the strength from her small body.

So far, her fundraiser has raised ₹2,000 of a ₹38,00,000 goal — under one percent. That shortfall is all that stands between Riyanshi and the treatment that could save her life. Closing it is precisely why a dedicated NGO for medical emergency cases exists.

Alive, But Not Cured

Thalassemia Major leaves Riyanshi’s body unable to produce enough healthy red blood cells on its own. Without regular transfusions, severe anaemia takes hold, leaving her breathless, drained, and dangerously weak for her age. The transfusions keep her alive, but they don’t cure her — instead, iron accumulates in her body faster than it can be flushed out, risking permanent damage to her heart, liver, and other organs. Her doctor, Dr. Gaurav Kharya of Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, has advised an early Bone Marrow Transplant as her strongest shot at a healthy, normal life. Every delay shrinks that window a little further.

Farmer’s Income Can’t Fight This Disease

Riyanshi’s father, Indrajeet, farms for a living in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He has given everything a father can — staying by her side through every transfusion, following every medical instruction, holding on to hope through every setback. What his income can’t do is stretch to ₹38 lakh. No amount of effort or willpower bridges a gap that wide alone. That’s where a dedicated NGO for medical emergency cases, like Sahyog Care For You, comes in — not to replace a father’s love, but to ensure it isn’t the only thing standing between his daughter and survival.

Right Now, You’re the Difference

With less than one percent of the goal met, Riyanshi’s case isn’t lacking in hope — it’s lacking in people who know her story yet. Every rupee donated brings her a step closer to a transplant that could hand her back an ordinary childhood: birthdays, school mornings, the simple freedom to run without gasping for air. Give today, and your contribution won’t be lost among thousands of others — it will be among the very first steps toward the ₹38 lakh she needs. That’s exactly the difference a trusted NGO for medical emergency cases is built to make.

Riyanshi is four. She didn’t choose this fight — and she can’t win it alone.

Donate to Riyanshi’s treatment now — because right now, even a small contribution is a very large part of what she has.
