In India, thousands of children grow up without having quality education. Most of them are underprivileged and in their situations. Getting educated in school continues to be a distant dream due to poverty, immigration, or ignorance. The way of dreams to the classroom in the case of such children is not that clear. Non-Formal Education (NFE) and Remedial Education is one of the most effective ways of NGOs to fill this gap. These initiatives are aimed at the children who have either never gone to school or have dropped out of school owing to diverse reasons. They also accommodate the children who are enrolled but are way behind in academics.

What is Non-Formal Education?

Non-Formal Education has the flexibility of the learning environment, which is tailored and made to suit the demands of a child who missed the normal schooling.
