*Vinayak (DOB: 16-12-2023)* is a little child diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and is currently under the care of *Dr. Deepak Thakur at Fortis Hospital,* Manesar.
Vinayak has a *large perimembranous Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD)—a large hole in his heart* that causes excessive blood flow to his lungs, forcing his heart to work much harder than normal. As a result, he is suffering from rapid breathing, difficulty in feeding, recurrent chest infections, and poor overall health. His condition is critical and, *if left untreated, may lead to heart failure.*
After thorough evaluation, *the treating doctor has advised early open-heart surgery,* as any further delay could put Vinayak's life at serious risk.
