Umera (DOB: 23-08-2016), a girl child, is diagnosed with a complex Congenital Heart Defect and is currently undergoing treatment at L.T.M.G. Hospital, Sion, Mumbai, under the care of Dr. Sriram and Dr. Saurabh.

Umera has a hole in her heart along with a narrowed valve and other associated complications, which have placed her life at serious risk. The doctors have advised an urgent surgical procedure (Balloon Aortic Valvoplasty) to stabilise her condition and improve her chances of survival.

Her mother, Sahana, a single parent and resident of Malad West, Mumbai, is engaged in small livelihood work and is unable to bear the high cost of the surgery with her modest income. She is trying her best to save her child, but the financial burden is overwhelming.

Any support extended towards Umera’s treatment will provide a ray of hope to this helpless mother and help save a precious young life.
