Emergency Case

Sushil, a 4-year-old boy, is bravely fighting a severe congenital heart defect at Artemis Hospital under the care of Dr. Aseem. He has been diagnosed with a Single Ventricle Heart, a life-threatening condition in which the heart has only one functioning pumping chamber instead of two.
Because of this defect, Sushil’s heart is unable to supply enough oxygen to his body. His little body often turns blue, he struggles to breathe, and even the simplest activities leave him exhausted. Each passing day carries a serious risk of heart failure, making his condition extremely fragile.
Despite his tender age, Sushil has already undergone cardiac catheterization and angiography. After careful evaluation, the doctors have advised Fontan surgery, which is the only definitive procedure that can give him a chance at survival and a more normal life.
Sushil’s father, Jagia Ram, is a small farmer from Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. With very limited income, the family has exhausted all their savings just to keep their child alive till now. The cost of this complex surgery is far beyond their means, leaving the parents helpless and heartbroken.
Today, this family stands at a critical crossroads. Your support—no matter how small—can help save Sushil’s life. Your compassion can turn their fear into hope, and give this young child a chance to breathe freely, smile, play, and grow like any other child.
Every contribution is a step toward giving Sushil a future.
