Shourya Sandeep (DOB: 07-08-2020), a 5-year-old little girl, is bravely battling Thalassemia Major and is currently undergoing treatment at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children under the care of Dr. Ambreen Padrowala.

Since early childhood, Shourya has been surviving only through frequent blood transfusions. Each transfusion gives her a few more days of life, but it is not a permanent solution. With every passing day, her condition poses a serious threat to her life.

Doctors have advised an urgent Bone Marrow Transplant, which is the only curative treatment for her condition. Unfortunately, no matching donor was found within her family. With great difficulty and hope, a matched external donor has now been arranged, giving Shourya a real chance at a healthy life.

However, this life-saving procedure comes with a very high cost, far beyond the means of her father, Sandeep, who is a resident of Panvel, Mumbai, and earns a modest livelihood. Despite his relentless efforts, arranging such a huge amount is nearly impossible for the family.

Today, Shourya’s life stands at a critical crossroads.
