A Little Girl’s Fight for Life – Riya Needs Your Help!

Riya, a bright and innocent 11-year-old (born on 5th July 2012), is battling Thalassemia Major, a life-threatening condition. Under the care of Dr. Gaurav Kharya at Apollo Hospital, Sarita Vihar, she is fighting a battle no child should ever have to face.

Riya is scheduled to be admitted on Monday ( 7/4/25) for her transplant procedure. An amount of ₹30 lakhs has been sanctioned by her father's company under their CSR initiative; however, the funds are yet to be received by the hospital. Additionally, approximately ₹3 lakhs are expected to come through the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Kosh. With this support, only ₹2 lakhs remain to be arranged.

The only lifesaving cure for Riya is a Bone Marrow Transplant, but the cost is staggering—₹36.5 lakh. Her father, Mr. Ambika Prasad, a hardworking man from Odisha, earns a modest living in Goa’s packaging industry. Despite his best efforts, this enormous medical expense is beyond his reach.
