Mahinoor , a 3-month-old baby girl, is courageously battling a complex congenital heart disease at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, under the expert care of Dr. Deepak Thakur . She has been diagnosed with TGA (Transposition of Great Arteries), VSD, ASD, and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH)—a life-threatening combination of heart defects.
Because the main arteries leaving her heart are switched, oxygen-poor blood is circulating throughout her tiny body. In addition, multiple holes in her heart are causing rapid breathing, poor weight gain, and putting tremendous strain on her lungs, which are already suffering from high blood pressure.
