A Life Hanging in the Balance: Help 6-Year-Old Harshil Pandya Fight Blood Cancer.
Master Harshil Pandya, a bright and loving 6-year-old, is bravely battling for his life. Diagnosed with a severe condition that requires intensive chemotherapy followed by a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), Harshil is currently undergoing treatment at Bombay Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai, under the care of Dr. Shyam Rathi.

At an age when he should be playing, learning, and dreaming, Harshil is instead facing needles, hospital beds, and painful treatments. His childhood has been abruptly replaced by a struggle for survival.

His father, Mr. Vishal Umesh Pandya, a humble data entry operator from Nalasopara, Maharashtra, is doing everything he can but the cost of treatment is far beyond his means. The family is emotionally and financially devastated, watching helplessly as their little one suffers.

Harshil had to be shifted to Bombay Hospital to stabilize his health, as continuing treatment at Hinduja had become financially impossible due to the high cost and lack of available funds. In June 2025, Tata Trust sanctioned an amount of ₹15 lakh for his treatment, and the official letter confirming this was received just a couple of weeks ago.

While this support has been a blessing, Harshil’s battle is far from over. His treatment at Bombay Hospital is ongoing, and an additional ₹45 lakh is urgently required to ensure he receives the complete care at Hinduja he needs.
