Viraj's Fight for a Healthy Heart
Baby Viraj (DOB: 27-05-2025) is under treatment at Fortis Hospital, Manesar, Gurugram, in the care of Dr. Deepak Thakur. He has been diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Defect (PDA - Patent Ductus Arteriosus), a serious condition where an abnormal blood vessel causes oxygenated blood to flow back into the heart.
This puts an extra burden on his tiny heart and, if left untreated, could severely affect his growth and health and even heart failure.
The doctors have strongly advised an early corrective surgery to save Viraj's life.
Viraj's father, Nitin, a humble agricultural laborer from Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, struggles to make ends meet and is unable to bear the overwhelming cost of the surgery.
